Caloriz is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile application.
IMPORTANT POINT: The application is solely intended to provide health and nutrition tools. Data collection is implemented solely to improve the user experience and to perform usage analysis of our services.
This policy applies to the application available on iOS as well as associated features. It does not cover third-party sites, services, or applications, which do not collect any personal data.
We only collect data after requesting it from you and only when you voluntarily provide it within the Application.
Identification data may include email address, first name, and last name. Physiological data may include weight, height, age, gender, and the nutritional goal you choose to communicate. User content includes, for example, meal titles, dates, and their composition that you import.
We collect certain usage data from the application. This information may be used to understand how users interact with the application solely to improve the overall experience. This data is anonymous.
Data is processed primarily to operate the Application in accordance with its purpose, i.e., to provide information and recommendations adapted to your profile. It is also used to create and manage your account, customize the interface and content taking into account your settings, and ensure service continuity. Statistical analyses may be performed using anonymized data to improve the application without identifying you.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to third parties. We may share your data only in the following cases:
We use service providers who act as processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. Google Firebase/Firestore provides hosting, database, and authentication and synchronization features. PostHog is used for audience measurement and analysis of application usage using anonymized data configured to limit any risk of identification. Mistral AI and OpenAI may intervene to provide analysis or content generation features; only elements strictly necessary for the dedicated feature are transmitted. Whenever possible, we prioritize hosting and processing within the European Union.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request the deletion of your data at any time directly from the application or by contacting us by email.
We implement all measures to protect your data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access. These measures include strict control of administrator access, logging and alerting in case of security events, as well as minimization of collected and processed data and anonymization for analysis purposes.
RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
We use RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data to process transactions. See their privacy policy for details.
You have the rights of access, rectification, and erasure of the data you have provided. Exercising these rights is done directly within the application in the "Personal Information" section (identity verification by password may be required) or by email to: info@caloriz.tech. We respond within one month of receiving the request.
Once your account is deleted, no data concerning you is kept.
Communications necessary for the operation of the service may be sent to you. Any marketing communication is only carried out with your prior consent, which can be withdrawn at any time via the application settings or unsubscribe links.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
